01

Does BBQ Replay need an account?

No. Core planning, active cook tracking, history and the Field Guide work locally on your iPhone without an account.

02

Does it connect to Bluetooth probes?

Not in version 1. Pit and food readings are entered manually so the site and app never imply that equipment is being controlled or read automatically.

03

Can I run more than one cook?

Yes. Each active cook has its own plan, readings, phases, reminders and outcome. Matching equipment names do not merge the records.

04

Where are cook photos stored?

Photos selected or captured for a cook are copied into app-managed local storage on the device. Version 1 JSON and CSV exports do not include photo files or photo metadata.

05

Can I back up cook history?

Completed and abandoned history can be shared as a versioned JSON archive. A spreadsheet-friendly CSV summary is also available, but CSV is not a restorable backup.

06

Does the app decide when food is safe or done?

No. Time, phase and temperature information is advisory. Verify food safety and doneness independently using appropriate guidance, your equipment and your own judgement.
